Which Jesus will You Follow? John 18:28-40
Monday Feb 06, 2023
Monday Feb 06, 2023
In this sermon, Pastor Kohl speaks on John 18:28-40. The story is told of Jesus’s trial before Pilate. Pilate thought he was judging Jesus, but in the end the one on trial that day was Pilate and the Jews who sought to put Jesus to death. They would rather have Barabbas a wicked man instead of Jesus. Why? Ultimately, because the real Jesus made them uncomfortable. Many substitute a false Jesus instead of the Jesus of the Bible for similar reasons. Preferring a comfortable unoffensive Jesus, they turn away. Let us hold fast and diligently seek to know the real Jesus, no matter how uncomfortable it makes us feel.
